Bournemouth Wrenwood Hotel
Terms & Conditions
No Smoking
As Bournemouth Wrenwood Hotel (hereinafter known as “the hotel”) only has one fire escape to the first floor, Dorset Fire Authority has insisted that we become a NON SMOKING HOTEL from March 1 of this year (2003) and bookings are only taken upon this understanding. Anyone found smoking in the Hotel will be asked to leave immediately without refund for any further days' stay to be taken. If you have been found to have been smoking in your room on the last night of your stay, a charge of £120.00 will be made to your credit or debit card account to cover the cost of our inability to let the room to non-smoking clientele for at least three days and to cover the cost of necessary dry cleaning of soft furnishings.
Reservations and Deposits
All rooms are offered subject to them being available and a booking is only confirmed on receipt of deposit of £40.00 either by cash, cheque, debit or credit card valid for the correct amount.  For your convenience, to save sending funds you can give us your card  number with an expiry date and the last three digits of the security code (which you will find on the reverse of your card). If we are unable to obtain the necessary deposit from your card if that is the method you have chosen for presenting your deposit, we shall telephone you to see if the number you have given us is the correct number or whether we have made a mistake on our part or give you the opportunity of giving us another card number. If we then are still unsuccessful in obtaining the deposit, no booking will be deemed to exist.
Children
If a child or children occupy a Family Room with two adults the child or children are charged a minimum of £8.00 per night plus £1 for each additional year up to the age of 15 after which adult rate applies. If a child occupies a Family Room with only one adult, the full adult rate applies. If more than one child occupies a Family Room with only one adult, the oldest child pays the full adult price and any subsequent children will be charged at the Children's Rate.
Cancellation Policy
It is recommended that you take out Holiday cancellation Insurance to cover at least the loss of your deposit. When you book accommodation you are entering into a legally binding contract with the hotel. If you have to cancel your holiday or fail to take up the assigned accommodation for whatever reason, you will still be liable financially to the Hotel. If you are unable to keep your booking, please telephone the hotel immediately and obtain a Cancellation Number from us. It is not good enough to send a fax or email that may go astray or not be received.
a) For cancellations made more than seven days prior to arrival, here will be no charge except a small cancellation fee of £10.00
b) For cancellations made within seven days of arrival, we shall make an effort  to re-let the accommodation. If we succeed in re-letting, there will be a cancellation fee of £40.00 which is your deposit. If we are unsuccessful in re-letting your accommodation, your liability in law is limited to 66% of the total cost of the proposed stay or the deposit whichever is the greater.
